The potatoes that have received special care while in the field are the ones taken to Propur.
The potaoes are selected by size. Only those complying to the demands of Canada #1 category are chosen.
The potatoes are forwarded to a water reservoir to remove all impurities.
The potatoes are washed, brushed and dried.
The potatoes are manually sorted and only the most appetizing ones are kept.
The potatoes are then weighed, regrouped in bags by a sophisticated automatic packing machine indicating the proper weight.
The variety and code are printed on each bag.
Some potatoes are selected at random and shipped to the laboratory for a quality control test.
The potatoes are distributed once complete approval is given by the specialists.
