The packing of Propur potatoes facilitates their traceability: The variety, packing date and supplier’s code are printed on each bag and this allows for the tracing back to a specific lot of potatoes if needed. It provides a supplementary guarantee.

Quality assurance

We are involved in a quality assurance process based on the food safety guide for potato packers by the Canadian Horticultural Council (CHC). Each lot is rigorously controlled through sampling and laboratory testing in order to make sure of the highest quality possible. The potatoes size is also checked in order to meet the requirements of Canada #1 grade. A qualified licensed agriculturist oversees operations. Nothing is left to chance. Even the warehouses are under computerized controls which adjust temperature, humidity and ventilation when needed.
