Under the responsibility of the G.R.T. division, the seed potatoes brokerage allows to acquire new varieties, facilitate quality control and commercialize the products. Our agents negotiate many tons of seed potatoes and potatoes every year. They make sure that the needs of the various partners are understood and met. Each lot is bought and controlled in order to meet G.R.T. Inc.’s quality criterions for these customers.

Still growing, the enterprise has increased its negotiated volume from 25 million pounds to more than 75 million pounds of table and seed potatoes. This has been achieved in a partnership with Distribution Proplant Inc. (Bas-Saint-Laurent-Gaspésie). This partnership aims at commercializing the entirety of their production and places Groupe Propur among the leaders for potato sales in eastern Québec.
